Project Details
From January 9 to February 2, 2025, the Honor of Kings × Disney Frozen collaboration brought a full cinematic event to the game, introducing Elsa- and Anna-inspired skins, Olaf-themed minions, and a wintery interface that turned the battlefield into a Frozen-themed wonderland.
For the official CG trailer, we composed one of the two event tracks, reimagining “Let It Go” and “Into the Unknown” (Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez, performed by Idina Menzel) into a magical orchestral score tailored to the visuals. The music followed the animation closely—snowfall, transformations, playful magical mishaps, and the final castle reveal—blending Disney’s melodies with the cinematic storytelling style of Honor of Kings.
– Ethereal orchestral textures, setting the tone for snowfall and transformation
– Playful, light passages, underscoring comical and joyful scenes
– Fantasy-driven climaxes, weaving Let It Go into the castle-building sequence
– Dramatic rise and finale, with Into the Unknown supporting the second transformation and reunion
The soundtrack was recorded with brass and strings at FAME’S Studios and woodwinds in Budapest, combining world-class ensembles into a single cohesive production.
The result is a score that bridges Disney’s timeless magic with Honor of Kings’ cinematic scale, delivering a festive and emotional Frozen celebration.
