For this collaboration between Honor of Kings, Alphonse Mucha, and Harper’s Bazaar, TiMi asked us to compose the announcement trailer music, embodying the theme “Beauty is in every facet” while personifying the two seasonal skins—Spring and Winter Night.
– Core melody – based on Matthew Carl Earl’s skin theme, expanded into a refined romantic score
– Violin for Spring 🌸 – light, airy, evoking butterflies and vitality
– Cello for Winter ❄️ – serene, deep, reflecting frozen stillness
– Dialogues between seasons – alternating violin and cello until their union
– Orchestral expansion + vocals – climax enhanced by operatic voice of Laura Intravia and strings recorded with a full ensemble at the Vienna Synchron Stage
The result is a Track full of romance, elegance, and duality, seamlessly uniting Mucha’s artistic vision with Honor of Kings’ storytelling.
