To celebrate the launch of the new AAA open-world game Honor of Kings: World, developed by Tencent / TiMi Studio, we were invited to compose the music for the official trailer, featuring the heroes of Honor of Kings crossing the portal into this new adventure !
The musical direction focused on translating the emotional journey of players and heroes into a cinematic orchestral experience, reflecting companionship, nostalgia, and the excitement of discovering a new world. We reworked the main Honor of Kings theme alongside “Let’s Play Again”, both originally composed by Hans Zimmer. The music shifts from a cheerful, familiar Honor of Kings tone to a more adventurous and magical atmosphere once the portal is crossed.
