For the Caleb Trailer of Love and Deepspace, we were invited to contribute to the trailer’s soundtrack.
The trailer presents Caleb as a multi-layered and mysterious character, torn between humanity and transformation:
"After the transformation, his muscles and bones turned into cold machinery. This time, will he still be able to feel the pain you inflict with your own hands?"
Our task was to collaborate closely with another composer, shaping the score to enhance its emotional resonance
– Electronic and glitch-inspired textures, embodying the cybernetic transformation
– Suppressed tension building into intensity, mirroring Caleb’s inner struggle
– A strong, climactic melody, symbolizing his past warmth and fractured humanity
– Collaborative process, refining emotion and narrative impact through teamwork
The result is a soundtrack that captures the dark yet emotional tone of Caleb’s story, leaving a lasting impression that bridges his vulnerability with his cold, mechanical transformation.
About the Client
Love and Deepspace (恋与深空) is the first 3D otome game by Papergames, published internationally by Infold Games. Released in January 2024, it has surpassed 50 million players worldwide and won Best Mobile Game at Gamescom 2025. Players follow a branching narrative where they build relationships with five distinct love interests, set against a backdrop of sci-fi mystery, romance, and interdimensional conflict—blending cinematic visuals with high-stakes emotional drama.
